Coffs to Bellingen (Day 1 - 67 km)

  • The Jetty Foreshores: A wonderful place to explore and the start of our journey along the coastline
  • Sawtell Headland: A prominent feature with swimming rock pools and a charming village close by
  • Bongil Bongil Picnic area: The site of the declaration of the Great Koala National Park in 2025
  • Mylestom: Where the Bellinger River meets with the ocean. Plan to stop and enjoy the surf, or river pool, or the General Store.
  • Bellingen: A vibrant town known for its arts scene and local markets. Stop here and enjoy the vibrant community. Stay overnight.

Approximately 67 km on relatively flat terrain with a mixture of sealed roads, paths and gravel surfaces. Some hills approaching Bellingen.
