Embark on an unforgettable journey along the Great Koala Trail. Explore 230km of stunning landscapes, from serene beaches to lush national parks, all while immersing yourself in the local culture of coastal NSW.

Bellingen to Dorrigo (Day 2 - 41 KM)

  • Glennifer: Known as "The Promised Land" with great swimming holes.
  • Summerville Road: Hugs the beautiful Bellinger Valley.
  • The Escarpment: Spectacular climb into Dorrigo National Park
  • Dorrigo National Park: Spend time at the lookout and tree top walk, jutting out over the edge of the escarpment.
  • Dorrigo: A central country town. Stop here and enjoy the relaxed community. Stay overnight.

Approximately 41 km. Starts easy on a mixture of sealed & unsealed roads before climbing the escarpment. Waterfall Way is dangerous - narrow, windy, with large trucks, caravans, motorbikes, and cars using this road daily. We are exploring "uplift" options on this section up to Dorrigo National Park Headquarters. Take care. Rest. Admire the views and waterfalls along the way. There is lots to explore at the Park.
